Ficlet | After Duke’s roommate and friend Sebastian confessed love for him on the soccer field in front of a packed stadium and all his teammates, then revealed that he was not a boy at all but in fact his twin sister Viola, what seemed at the time a happy ending for Duke against potentially confusing feelings and an embarrassing public display of affection from a boy he shared a room with, revealed itself to be something else entirely in the weeks to come as the memory of that twitch in his pants at seeing Sebastian — the
real Sebastian — with his cock exposed for all to see, lingered with him. Although the revelation meant Viola and Duke were free to begin a guilt-free, heterosexual relationship, he was unable to forget how seeing that cock made him feel. With Viola back to being Viola and Duke with her brother for a roomie, it wasn’t long before the bed hopping began as Duke sought to combine the soccer playing Sebastian with whom he had such a connection with the physicality of the boy with his dangly bits on the soccer field that day. As Duke became more and more addicted to the fantasy of sex with a soccer playing Sebastian, the fantasy itself became more and more elaborate. Post-game sex on his motorbike in the Illyria car park, even on the field after practice, Sebastian wearing Viola’s number 13 jersey, the risk of being caught thickening Duke’s cock with Sebastian’s tight passage. And they did get caught, one day when Viola came by the soccer field for a surprise visit to her boyfriend, who of late had been putting so many hours into training, to find him and her brother going at it right there in the field. And while Sebastian enjoyed the sex
really enjoyed it his loyalties were with his sister, leaving Duke alone with his fantasies, desperate to have them fulfilled, even if it meant fucking the captain of the Cornwall team, and Viola’s ex, along the local gay cruising strip, all to recapture the excitement of pounding his throbbing cock into a soccer boy’s arse.

Notes | This manip series is from a film that many of you probably haven’t seen, however it represents a formula I’m sure you’re all familiar with, which is the boy/girl impersonates opposite gender, confusing the sexual stability of the person with whom they exist in close proximity with while incognito, the person’s confused sexual yearnings legitimised once it is revealed that the boy/girl is actually a she/he. While there are better, more slashier examples from this genre, such as Young Americans in which said confused male Hamilton Fleming (Ian Somerhalder) accepts that he is homosexual when he falls in love with his friend Jake Pratt (who was actually Jacqueline) She’s the man does have certain elements that make it distinct and of interest, such as the twin brother and shared dorm room devices.
That the sexual confusion in films/series such as these are experienced almost exclusively by men I think is no coincidence, as I feel such films both promote and expose engrained homophobia, which is why I find such texts both progressive and offensive. Evidence of this is perhaps best present in a related genre/narrative device, which is the gender switch story, in which frequently the female-in-male-form spends her time acquainting herself with the logistics of the penis, while the male-in-female-form struggles with the attention she receives from men.
I was also attracted to the pretty, Channing Tatum in one of his earlier roles is particularly yummy, and frequently shirtless. There’s also plenty of slash-inducing moments, such as Duke and Justin’s pining over Viola and bumping heads (first at the kissing booth then literally mid-game). Interestingly, Tatum and Robert Hoffman (who plays Justin) were the leads in Step up 1 and 2 respectively.
You’ll also notice that this manip comes as part of a series, which helps tell a fuller story, this following a cue from
demon48180 and his efforts. This particular manip also happened at an interesting time with Amanda Bynes’s retirement coming last month, hence her appearance in Busted. In this sense it’s become a tribute from a fan. I also recognise that the story these manips tell isn’t exactly a cheery one, I suppose it’s in response to annoyance I have with films from this genre. Also, you’ll notice that in The motorcycle diaries there’s an anti-bareback stencil as part of the wall graffiti. This is because, while in slash bareback is often portrayed as part of the fantasy, I feel I should acknowledge that for many who take part in slash what is seen as promoting unsafe sex is offensive. So I guess this is my way of saying that fantasies are great fun, but being unsafe sexually is never OK.
